Instruction to Author

International Journal of Advanced Biomedical & Pharmaceutical Research publishes original research papers, critical reviews and communications on the latest developments in the Bio-medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences with strong emphasis on originality and scientific quality.

International Journal of Advanced Biomedical & Pharmaceutical Research (IJABPR) is an official journal, publishing original scientific research in all fields of pharmacy.

International Journal of Advanced Biomedical & Pharmaceutical Research publishes original research work that contributes significantly to further the scientific knowledge in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences (Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical/Medicinal Chemistry, Computational Chemistry and Molecular Drug Design, Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacy Practice, Clinical and Hospital Pharmacy, Cell Biology, Genomics and Proteomics, Pharmacogenomics, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology of Pharmaceutical Interest). International Journal of Advanced Biomedical & Pharmaceutical Research publishes original research work either as a Full Research Paper or as a Short Communication.

The primary criteria for acceptance and publication are scientific rigor and potential to advance the field. It is essential that authors prepare their manuscripts according to established specifications. Failure to follow them may result in papers being delayed or rejected. Therefore, contributors are strongly encouraged to read these instructions carefully before preparing a manuscript for submission. The manuscripts should be checked carefully for grammatical errors. All papers are subjected to peer review.

Manuscript Preparation
The language of the journal is English. Each manuscript should be typed double-spaced on A4 (8.5" × 11") paper size with 1 inch margins. The following detailed instructions are necessary to allow direct reproduction of the manuscript for rapid publishing. Manuscript should be typewritten in Times Roman, 12 font size, double-spaced, title should be in a font size 14, bold face capitals, with margins of at least one inch on all sides. Pages should be numbered consecutively, starting with the title page and the matter arranged in the following order: Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusion, Acknowledgements, References. Abstract should start on a separate page and each table or figure should be on main body of the text.
The title should be as short as possible and precisely indicate the nature of the work in the communication. Names of the authors should appear as initials followed by surnames. At the bottom left corner of the title page, please mention “Address For correspondence” and provide a functional e-mail address. Address of the corresponding author to whom all correspondence may be sent should be given only if it is different from the address already given under authors’ names.

Abstract: Should start on a new page after the title page and should present the aim of the study, material and methods, results and conclusions, not more than 300 words. All the three categories, Review Articles, Research papers and Short Communications should have an Abstract.

Key Words
Three or more key words must be provided by authors for indexing of their article. Key words will be listed directly below the Abstract.

Introduction: Should start on a new page and should clearly indicate the aim of the study.

Materials and Methods - Should start as a continuation to introduction on the same page. All important materials used along with their source shall be mentioned. The main methods used shall be briefly described, with references. New methods or substantially modified methods may be described in sufficient detail. The statistical method and the level of significance chosen shall be clearly stated.

Results
All findings presented in tabular or graphical form shall be described in this section. The data should be statistically analyzed and the level of significance stated. Data that is not statistically significant need only to be mentioned in the text - no illustration is necessary. All Tables and figures must have a title or caption and a legend to make them self-explanatory. Results section shall start after materials and methods section on the same page.

Discussion
This section should follow results, deal with the interpretation of results, convey how they help increase current understanding of the problem and should be logical. Unsupported hypothesis should be avoided. The Discussion should state the possibilities the results uncover, that need to be further explored. There is no need to include another title such as “Conclusions” at the end of Discussion. Results and discussion of results can also be combined under one section, Results and Discussion.

Acknowledgements and Funding: All acknowledgments should be typed in one paragraph directly preceding the reference section.

Tables/Figures

Incorporate tables and/or figures with their legends into the main body of text.

References
References should be referred to by name and year in the text (e.g.: Pierce and Broadman, 1963; Smith, 1999; Lindsey et al., 1987) and listed alphabetically at the end of the paper in reference section.
